¿Quién soy yo? (Who am I?)
I have been teaching with Wicomico County Public Schools since 2009. I graduated in 2004 from Towson University with double bachelors degrees in International Business and Spanish and completed my Masters of Arts in Teaching through Salisbury University in May, 2012. I have been fortunate enough to complete study abroad experiences in Oropesa del Mar/Barcelona, Spain (family homestay), Cuernavaca, Mexico, and Havana, Cuba. Additionally, I have spent time traveling through Puerto Rico, Italy, Greece, Ireland, France, and St. Maarten. I love to travel and hope your children are able to have the experiences through the study of Spanish that I have had. Learning another language truly opens up ones eyes, mind, and heart to the differences between mankind all over the world.
My goals as a World Language teacher are:
1. To get students communicating by speaking and writing in the target language.
2. To encourage students to embrace differences between American and Spanish/Hispanic/Latino cultures.
3. To give students the opportunity to travel to other countries! In 2014, I took my FIRST group of students to experience Spain!! My Spanish I teacher took me for the first time and I was so glad to give my students the opportunity to travel abroad! In 2016, we did a tour through Italy, the home of romance languages! Where should we go next?!

My passion for travel has also led me into the world of professional photography. My absolute favorite type of photography are senior portraits because it gives me more opportunities to work with my students!
